So welcome to my world: The Quarter Life Diaries.
To start off the blogging process we will begin with a much needed vacation from the work world. This week of fun and birthdays began in the most boring way possible after a weekend of celebration: with a trip to the eye doctor. Lucky for me the doctor was nervous due to an ulcer from years past so he decided to dilate. This of course leaving me looking higher than a kite and blinder than the new governor of New York. Thankfully my good friend Paul was around to play knight in shining armor as I blindly wandered the streets of the UES.

Luckily for the red-headed Paul he is often mistaken for Irish which works out to be pretty awesome around this time of year.
Shortly after we were seated our favorite waiter came by and asked if we would like a pint a Guinness. Not being a beer drinker myself I quickly responded that I was good, but Paul would definitely like one. I responded so quickly that I didn't even realize that it was only 1:00 in the afternoon when I was trying to make Paul drunk. But then again we're on vacation.
Paul ordered a stereotypical Irish breakfast of Bangers and Mash. Shortly after its arrival to the table he looked around at the table and said "Coffee, Guinness, and beans.... you're lucky you're taking a two-hour break from me."
Making it out in record time I returned to the UES where while waiting for the walk signal to come on at a corner a certain ginger boy turned up on my left. Not having finished creating the perfect gift I told Paul he was not allowed to talk to me while a ran away to the safety of Barnes and Nobel.
My gift of travel games and snacks for the bus was so awesome I couldn't keep it a secret any longer. I told Paul he had to open it right away.
Long story short I am AWESOME. The gifts were well worth a trip to Times Square and now we are ready for a super vacation.
